Speakerbox has been giving Bangkok’s underground music scene a stage since 2016. Now settled into a larger Thong Lo space, the independent venue keeps its dive-bar character, with two connected areas: The Speakeasy for drinks before the show and The Live Room, a sound-isolated space built for live performances. The calendar moves through indie rock, punk, metal, experimental sounds, and electronic music, bringing emerging Thai bands together with international touring acts. Jam nights, funk sessions, and city pop shows keep the lineup unpredictable, so it’s worth checking who’s playing before heading over.
