A Tasting with Antoine Paillard of Champagne Pierre Paillard

Join us at Madura Rooftop for an intimate tasting with Antoine Paillard, who co-runs one of Champagne’s most respected grower houses with his brother Quentin.

The experience

• A guided tasting of four cuvées across three Grand Cru villages, presented by Antoine himself:

  • Les Parcelles, Bouzy Grand Cru

  • Les Terres Roses, Bouzy Grand Cru

  • Ambonnay Grand Cru, Pinot Noir Extra Brut 2020

  • Verzenay Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes, Pinot Noir 2018

• Tray-passed canapés by Chef Omar Konateh of Madura

• The story behind each wine, its village and how it was made, told by the family that grows it

About the house

• The Paillard family has farmed vines in Bouzy since 1768. Antoine and Quentin are the eighth generation.

• Their 11-hectare estate sits in the historic Grand Cru village of Bouzy, known for generous, structured Pinot Noir.

• Since 2016 the brothers have been converting their vineyards to organic farming, with long aging in oak at the heart of their style.

• Since 2018 they have also made wines from other top villages of the Montagne de Reims, including Verzenay and Ambonnay.

Stay for dinner

After the tasting, you are welcome to stay for dinner from Madura’s regular menu, with the city skyline as your backdrop. Dinner is not included in the ticket. We recommend booking a table in advance.

Bottles of the featured cuvées will be available to purchase on the night.
